Rare Travis Bean Wedge bass on ebay (TB4000 #39)
Here is the description related to this bass..
"My old car broke down,so my most precious bass has to find a new home.
I purchased this extremely rare Travis Bean TB 4000 Bass last year from a collector,who has several of Travis Beans'
personal guitars in his collection ( for example the very first Prototype and a Double Wedge 6 String ).
It was not played for 32 years until I bought it.
The bass has a deep blue sparkle colour in bright day light,from far though,it looks almost like black.
Serial number is 39 (imprinted on headstock).
There are a few scuffs at the bottom,some fine lines from cold weather and one scratch on the back of the neck.
The frets show no wear at all.
NOTE: this bass needs a warm home,if you live in Alaska,it is no good for you !
The neck is perfectly straight at around 24 degrees celsius,
if it is colder than that,the cold alu will pull back the rosewood fingerboard and the neck develops a light back bow.
Sorry,no case,but will be packed bomb proof in a solid box."
