Hey! I was looking for a "forum log in" or registration but hopefully I can just post anyway? I guess this forum is still active, I am working on a 7075 T6 design myself in the UK, nobody seems to be making this stuff on this side of the pond......how light is light? Think it was Keith Bontrager who said "strong, light or cheap, pick two" 😀

Hellow, A response to the post,
Not a whole lot of activity here

Yes I have a metal neck design, too
As light as an equivalent maple neck, aluminum with ebony fingerboard..

Sounds good, are you going into production or is this a one off? Playing with headstock design at the moment, angles, tuning peg position to give a nice straight pull. Got any pics so I can share opinions?

I have not shown the internal structure but here is where I get ideas.
I worked here and machined these type parts.

Ah, techy stuff! 😊 Just got back from a UK guitar show, distinct lack of metal necks, lots of designs which are so old and a lot of folk trying to answer questions which don't need answering, do you really need a guitar that lights up?
