"The body is black-painted Koa wood. There are NO cracks in the body. All original including knobs, etc. The neck is natural polished aluminum, not coated.
I bought this bass new in the mid 70's, and have taken special care of it all these years. It comes with a heavy-duty hard case and a 3" wide strap. I'll include the special heavy cord with mil-spec connectors. Unlike most all aluminum neck instruments, this bass stays in tune with temperature variations quite well.
It has a great recorded sound, very accurate and defined."
