Style of Music: Alt rock...I guess. Mostly missed notes.

Comments: Since first stumbling up these on forums, I was obsessed with aluminium neck guitars. I had never played one by the time my Series 1 arrived. Mine is an all aluminium with a thick neck, two single coils, and one set of controls. I play 11s, and use a 70s silverface fender amp.

I generally find things to stress over with a new guitar, but this has been the business straight from the word go. Sounds fantastic. Loads of clarity and cut without being shrill or abrasive. Although I've been able to get abrasive out of it easily when required. Craftsmanship and setup are amazing on it. Definitely one of the best playing and sounding guitars I've had the pleasure of owning. I guess if I'm completely honest, if I could wave a magic wand, I'd make it 2lbs lighter. It comes in at 10.3lb, and I think it's a touch heavier than the average due to the thick neck option. On the Std thick neck option I believe it's a solid piece. On the Dennisons and the Basses, I believe they have two weight relief channels. I have however decided just to man the f**k up.

Best gear related decision I ever made.
