Hi..I may be collecting a kramer 450g tomorrow. The guy wants 470 it's had one owner since 78 very clean looks mint in photos..original hard case..does that sound fair to you? Dmzs normally go for about 400 on eBay...any opinions would be appreciated...

sounds like a fair price man
did you pick it up in the end?
I have a 250g, and 350b and paid more (though they were both in near mint condition), great instruments, though pretty heavy hahah

Yeah man I picked it up...paid 470 and it's absolutely mint!!! Couldn't believe it. It's like theguy hadn't played it in 30 years of owning it. I'm loving it too. I already had an Egc custom and the Kramer is heavier than that. I also have an Obstructures 0.750 being machined as we speak....but at the mo my Kramer is my workhorse...love the tone. It's got a little more body compared o my Egc. But when I want shrill I pull my Egc out :)

Well done fella, you must've been delighted
But youe EGC is Lighter! I've been thinking about getting an EGC baritone for a while now, that is the one factor thats been holding me back. How much did your custom end up costing you?

I have the wooden body rather than the full alu model. It was 5 years ago I got mine too. So I don't really like to say about price cos I know Kevin changes prices and such due to costs etc....otherwise you get the whole "I paid this, you paid that" etc. Bu I'll say this I've easily had my money's worth and his prices now aren't that far off what I paid.

Yeah that's a fair assessment.
Will just start saving, and contact him when I have enough.

Could be a while though.
