I wanted to show you guys an aluminum guitar that Greg built for me a few months back. I had always lusted for a Veleno but couldn't ever afford one,....even at $700 for a used one back in 1979. This tribute looks a lot like the current Veleno, but I had it built to different specs, so no one would ever try to pass it off as the real thing. Greg's work is phenominal and it plays super. I hope to get some clips up as soon as I can get this tendonitus in my left arm to heal up some.

Ah well, when I post, it keeps removing the % sign from between aluminum and guitar. Anyway, if you want to see photos, it's a photobucket under "virtualjazzbo" and the folder is "aluminum guitar".

Greg Bailey built?
That is the Ultimate Metal Neck! Very very very sweet axe indeed. Alumisonics? Aluminum fretboard? Must be hollowed out? Killer Headstock! Bolt on neck? Sounds like...? Love the case!

I've been wanting to build the ultimate aluminum guitar in a year or so. The bar has been officially raised.
