Hi everyone.

I and a friend are trying to start building guitars, and our first project is a low effort one where we try to make a two-string bass out of an old hockey stick, and we have some good quality copper plate that fits perfectly as a fretboard for it. Is this an ok idea, or should I put the notion out of my head?
