Comments: I traded a beloved Ibanez Soundgear for this beastly thing, it was love at first sight. Haven't played another bass since. The tone can only be described as monstrous, and other players actually complain about the sustain, which is never-ending. The metal neck is temp-sensitive, of course, but once you get used to it the pitch shifts are predictable and controllable. Only problem I have had is with the tuners self-destructing - replacements have to be shipped from Germany and cost a fortune. The bridge is a piece of crap but I haven't bothered to replace it yet. Why fix if it ain't...I love my War Bass!
