Comments: this thing is a tank, much like all other al. instruments. at first i thought it was a dmz 5000, but after perusing vintagekramer.com discovered otherwise. my particular bass is fretless, but has all the line markings to indicate where frets would be. very strange in my opinion. the thing sounds amazing though. i play it through an all tube 1973 svt and nothing has ever sounded so damn rumbly. it is neck heavy, but it's nothing a coarse strap didn't fix. moderate wear and tear.

i also like the simplicity of the instrument, it's very easy to get the tone you want.
