hi, just bought a nice looking kramer bass and it has neck wear on the aluminium at the point where the neck rests in the case, that being an original case, looks like something has etched the surface fairly deeply, just wondering if anyone has seen this and has any suggestions of repair, i was thinking putting some neutralising agent on the spot ang then covering in a clear resin, but not sure, If anyone has advice that would be great. Also looking for a surround for the kramer pickup as this ones cracked, thanks mark.

I would try buffing it out before I'd cover the wear marks. Unless it affects playability it's probably not a big issue, perhaps it's something you will get used to.
