Comments: Durability gets a ten for obvious reasons.
The tone is super shrill and it is hard to flatten out if that is something that you would ever want to do. I find myself wanting to do it from time to time and then thinking "No don't do that. This is the way it is supposed to be".
The rounded edges on the neck aren't as smooth as you are probably used to but it doesn't really create a problem. I also have to hold the neck up while I play, which isn't really a pain as I like to grapple anything I touch but I can imagine plenty of long-haired forty somethings that noodle on benches whining about it. The fretboard doesn't arc at all, but I don't really mind that, either. Just thought I would mention it.
The time and effort that Matt put into this guitar is astounding. When I picked it up from him, he personally filed the nut to accommodate my heavier strings (ZAKK WYLDE endorsed "boomers") and was complaining about the back plate not having a "true fit"". There was a clearance of maybe 1/2 millimeter.

All in all one of the best guitars I have ever played and something I will pass on to children if I am unlucky enough to have them but lucky enough to have them play guitars.

Also: For a limited time only-- Get half off when you mention my review.
