Style of Music: Classic 70s rock and blues. Did a stint as bass player because there were too many guitar-slingers around.

Comments: Played this beast for a couple years, loved the stability, action, tone and sustain, hated the poor balance and extra weight, and the fact the original fingerboard fell apart in chunks at the fretwire cuts (paid another $300 for a new hunk of ebony, special epoxy, and a refret). What a great bass though. Mine was black, s/n 855, iirc and being later production had the enameled neck - but playing it in cold places still sucked the life out of my hands. Traded in for a nice flute for my daughter when I was nearly broke and she took up music. It still has my name and that of the previous owner carved into the inside of the cover plate. Regret letting the bass go, the flute is long gone and she never did get famous and pay me back ;-)
