Comments: I have a black, custom HT with a humbucker in the neck position and a single-coil, standard "TB2000" replica pickup in the bridge pickup.

A very nice bass indeed. Great tone, excellent sustain, comfortable neck. Took a while to set up as the bridge height was tough to get right (I had to send the bridge riser plate back to Kevin at Electrical to get machined) but once this was complete, with a set of fresh Rotosounds, the bass is wonderful.

The craftsmanship is pretty good and it seems to be improving with each new guitar Kevin makes. Mine is a little rough around the pickups with a bit of silicone ooze and holes cut larger than they need to be for the poles, but it is undetectable unless you are looking up close, and it doesn't affect the sound at all. The neck is impeccably machined and polished to a tee. Stable tuning, great bridge, superb electronics.

The humbucker neck pickup is interesting. It taps to two single coils via the volume pot. It has a very early Fugazi, crispy top, deep dubby low, almost active sounding tone when the humbucker is engaged.

I love the single coil pickup on the bridge. It sounds very close to the TB2000 Single coils, but with a tiny bit more bite and volume due to the volume pots being a higher value (I think).

This bass tube Ampeg SVT, V4-B, Traynor YBA-3 or GK 800RB= Growling heaven!
