Comments: I absolutely love this thing! works great as a guitarbass. I tune it higher, from G or A), strumming, chords, mild overdrive.

Style of Music: amazing quick tempo'd hammer slap pop with face melting apegios rifts

Comments: I bought it brand new from Manny's in New York when I was 15. I love this bass. I have a badass 2 bridge and custom DeMagio pickups. IT's perfect.

Style of Music: I PLAY METAL, OLD SCHOOL HEAVY FREAKING METAL!!! WWW.MYSPACE.COM/TRANQUILTERROR CHECK IT OUT

Comments: THE FIRST BASS I EVER OWNED WAS A KRAMER VANGUARD AND I DIDNT KNOW WHAT I HAD, I WAS JUST A STUPID TEENAGER, I LET IT GET OUT FROM UNDER ME FOR A LESSER, EXTREMELY USELESS "NEWER" PIECE OF CRAP THAT I STILL HAVE, ITS THE ONLY BASS IN 22 YEARS OF PLAYING THAT I DONT HAVE STILL. SO I FOUND ONE ON EBAY A FEW YEARS AGO AND WAS DETERMINED TO HAVE IT AT ANY PRICE!!! THIS THING HAS SUCH A MEAN TONE TO IT!!! ITS JET BLACK AND IN GREAT CONDITION, ITS AN A SERIES SERIAL # AND IN MY MIND ONE OF THE GREATEST BASSES EVER MADE. I WOULD SELL MY GIBSON FLYING V BASS BEFORE I WOULD EVER CONSIDER SELLING MY KRAMER!!! ITS ALL STOCK EXCEPT FOR THE BAD ASS BRIDGE WICH IS AN ABSOLUTE IMPROVEMENT TO THE PLAYABILITY AND TONE OF THIS MONSTER!!! IF YOU OWN ONE-KEEP IT-OR SELL IT TO ME!!!! THE ALUMINUM NECKS ARE AWSOME CREATIONS AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED WORKS OF ART!!! 1 VOLUME, 1 TONE, 1 INPUT=PERFECTION!!!!!!!

Style of Music: I play fast fast rock.

Comments: This bass plays great you can get that shellac tone but i had to buy a new pickup and bridge for it. I have a white Vanguard also and it has a fatter tone for recording but is not as fast to play. they both have e.m.g. Active pickups which are great. If you dont have a Kramer then deal wi it.
