"We're big Melvins fans here so we couldn't resist ordering in a gold EGC standard. We didn't want to do a straight up copy King Buzzo's so we went with a black painted fingerboard and chrome hardware. This one also has a very comfortable round neck profile as opposed to the thin and flat necks that you find on most EGC's. Plays great and sounds even better with custom wound EGC pickups made just like the old Travis Bean ones."
