Due to an unfortunate accident last night (and cause I'm an idiot), my Kramer bass neck has come away from the body. It's held in by three hex screws (running vertically with the neck), but I reckon they're pretty stripped, as they don't screw in properly. The neck was also glued in, but not excessively. I'm going to get three new screws tonight (If I can find hex screws great, if not, oh well), but I'm unsure of the glue that would've been used orginally. I have some Aquadhere wood glue (the white stuff that dries clear), and I'm thinking of using a small amount of that..? I need to fix this tonight cause I'm playing a show on Friday night. I'd like to fix this myself, cause I doubt a guitar shop in Adelaide will be able to help me.

Help? Suggestions?

As suggested over at the PRF, you are going to want to get the holes tapped again.

The necks were not originally 'glued in' at all. Just get the proper size bolts and tighten it down. Perhaps the neck routing was too large and the neck needed the extra glue to hold it straight, but that is not normal.
