I'm wondering if any of you have experience playing both beans (standards, specifically) and the kramer DMZ 2000's. I'm considering a trade plus some cash for my bean, and the guitar I'd be trading for is a DMZ 2000.
Any information you can give me would be sweet!
Thanks, Mike Taylor

Hello
How much cash in the trade? Standards are starting to get up in price.. approximately $3k - $4k. You usually see Kramers under or around the $1K mark. I would probably recommend you try to buy a DMZ outright and keep the Bean. Both Beans and Kramers are starting to be super collectible (especially the Beans).. I can see the possibility of you regretting this trade in the future.
As far as playability and tone, I've never played a DMZ. I do own a TB1000S though, and really enjoy that guitar. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see if others have a DMZ and TB1000S to see how they compare. Also, is your Bean a natural Koa finish.. or colored? That's makes a big difference as well.

My bean would get me the DMZ and $2200 in trade.
The bean is natural Koa.
I noticed just in the last few days that beans are going for over 3k these days. Wow.
